A Renewal

Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. ~ Romans 6:4

So shall we come to look at the world with new eyes. ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson.

Transitions are a part of life, allowing for perpetual renewal. When you experience the end of one chapter, allow yourself to feel the emotions of loss and rebirth.

A bud gives way to a new flower, which surrenders to the fruit, which gives rise to a seed, which yields a new sprout. Even as you ride the roller coaster, embrace the centered internal reference of the ever-present witness. ~ David Simon

Gratitude is the most passionate transformative force in the cosmos. When we offer thanks to God or to another human being, gratitude gifts us with renewal, reflection, reconnection. ~ Sarah Ban Breathnach

When we complain of having to do the same thing over and over, let us remember that God does not send new trees, strange flowers and different grasses every year.

When the spring winds blow, they blow in the same way. In the same places the same dear blossoms lift up the same sweet faces, yet they never weary us.

When it rains, it rains as it always has. Even so would the same tasks which fill our daily lives put on new meanings if we wrought them in the spirit of renewal from within–a spirit of growth and beauty. ~ Helen Keller

If you are renewed by grace, and were to meet your old self, I am sure you would be very anxious to get out of his company. ~ Charles Spurgeon

Easter is meant to be a symbol of hope, renewal, and new life. ~ Janine di Giovanni

There is no justification without sanctification, no forgiveness without renewal of life, no real faith from which the fruits of new obedience do not grow. ~ Martin Luther

The key to continual and deeper spiritual renewal and revival is the continual re-discovery of the gospel. ~ Timothy Keller

    1. I tried to comment on your post. Not sure if it went through as it didn’t show up on my end. I had to remember what I sent and wrote it again. Okay…maybe I did it three times. Unless, there’s a delay in it posting, I’m not sure you got it. 😬

      1. Hi Andi, I didn’t get anything from you (as Andi)…but I got something from someone anonymously. It was a very nice comment, so if that WAS you… thanks! 😎

I’m looking forward to reading your answers! 🙏❤️

            1. Well, I meant it. I’m glad we are blogging friends! Question. Do I just post your questions and my answers on my blog? Along with the picture? Or do I somehow post it on that site? Sorry for the questions. I guess I’m just old. lol

              1. Hahaha, yeah, we’re all getting there. You save the flower picture and use it for a new post on your blog. In your new post…
                1) mention me and put a link to my site
                2) you answer my questions
                3) you think of 11 bloggers you like, and come up with 11 new questions to ask them
                4) list your 11 bloggers and the questions for them in your post after you answer mine.
                5) Then you go to one of their recent posts and add a new comment: “Hey, so-and-so, I nominated you for the Sunshine Blogger Award. See my (link to your post) recent post for more info.”

Check out my post. Kiki nominated me, so I mentioned/thanked her, added a link to her site, answered her questions, then listed my 11 bloggers and the my new questions. Finally I went to my 11 friends and added a comment to one of their recent posts to let them know 😎
