God Listens

~ Our God is an awesome God ~

Last night, on behalf of my friend, prayers were lifted to our Father and with compassion, He honored them. My friend is here. Exhausted, but with us.

My heart is filled with love and gratitude. I cannot fully express how I feel. To know that you prayed for a complete stranger is overwhelmingly gracious and kind. And some of you do not even know me except through my blog.

God’s family is the best. His family extends to the far ends of the earth and every place in between. My friend is truly blessed this day. And I am blessed by you.

This event brought Christians together for a common goal. God heard and graciously blessed us. But our God would still be an awesome God if our prayers had been answered differently. We have to believe that no matter what the outcome, God is just. He is most loving and always works for the good of His children. We have to trust in His wisdom.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart. ♥️

    1. Yes, great news indeed.
My friend has a long way to go yet. But he’s still here for a reason. Even if it’s to bring Christians together. Like us. 🙂

        1. My friend now needs a heart transplant. Without one, they say he has six months, maybe a little more. This is a very difficult time. He lives 3 hours from me so I can’t be there to help as I’d like to be. He’s been such a great friend to me and to so many others. He has such a giving heart. I’m just devastated. I am hoping he passes all the testing and is able to receive a heart. Please pray, my sweet Montana friend. Thank you.

          1. I will definitely be praying..for your friend and for you. I am so sorry for what you are going through Andi. Just remember God loves him even more than you do. Put him in God’s hands. I will be praying hard he finds a suitable heart. I wish I could give you a hug.🙏🙏🙏

            1. Thank you, Sherry.
He has to go through much testing to see if he has cancers or anything else life threatening. They don’t want to give a heart to someone who is going to die of something else.

He is a guy I graduated high school with. We really were only acquaintances then but started a friendship at our class reunion. He has taught me many things about life and God. We never dated or anything like that. We just became great friends. When my dad was sick in Florida, my sister called me and said he took a turn for the worse. I wasn’t home at the time she called and I texted my friend before I headed home. He said I need to get to my dad as soon as possible. A few minutes after I got home he called me. He told me to pack my bags because my flight was at 5:00. And then he said he booked three nights in St. Petersburg. He didn’t want me to stay in a hotel. He wanted me to be at a place where I could find peace, and be near the water. It was the #1 rated bed and breakfast in St. Petersburg. It was gorgeous. He was near his phone the whole time I was in Florida, always ready to talk to me. And when I struggled with my sister, he helped me. He told me to be the “cream”, remember? He’s good to everyone. Absolutely love him.

                1. He is going to be admitted to the hospital tomorrow for an extended stay. He is rated a Class D in heart failure. Tests will be run to see if he is a candidate for transplant. Just updating you. 💕
